The OS application Guerande day/night will lead you in the heart of the medieval town. Strolling within and around the fortress walls, you will discover an exceptional heritage Days and nights you will learn more about the emblematic monuments of the most famous fortified town in the West of France.
The Guerande Day-Night App offers practical and historical information about the citys numerous monuments as well as suggests discovery paths. It also informs visitorsabout the different scenarios of the lighting plan #guerandebylight
Thanks to this app, which combines heritage and digital technology, visitors may be able to wander freely in the town and learn about it at the same time.
Three walks are proposed, one by night and two by day, in our Town of Art and History (others may be added soon). each presents a thorough description of the monuments, their history, pictures and texts in french or in in english.
Visitors will also find informations concerning the guided tours organized by the Heritage Service associated to the Tourist Office.
You wont be able to resist a visit of the city and a better understanding of its history.
